We are a practice based in Upper Salthill which provides for private patients, medical card holders and those with doctor visit cards. We are also happy to see patients who are in Galway temporarily.
Visitors from the EU with valid European Health Insurance Cards are also welcome. Students are also welcome and are entitled to reduced fees if they are not a medical card or doctor visit card holder (upon production of a valid student card).
The practice moved to the present location in 2007, having previously operated from Lower Salthill. It was established by Dr Eithne Conway-Magee in the 1970s and was subsequently taken over by Dr Dan Murphy after her retirement in 1998.
Dr Murphy built upon Dr Conway-Magee’s foundations to expand the surgery and improve its services to the level that it is today.
Our staff are highly qualified and we offer a wide range of services which are detailed in our services and fees section. We take tremendous pride in the level of our care and all medical staff are compliant with mandatory Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
This is a training practice affiliated to the Western G.P. Training Programme and the National University of Ireland, Galway. We are an approved surgery for the Garda Siochana Doctor of Choice scheme. |
